Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing excellent service to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy using proper cashiering procedures Follow food safety guidelines and food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety standards are met Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as needed during busy periods Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Effective time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee meets your talent for creating joyful customer experiences!
