Job Description
Job Overview Mary's Coffeehouse at the Lodge and Resort at Lake Mary Ronan is looking for a friendly, energetic team member who enjoys connecting with people and providing outstanding customer service. As our Coffeehouse Clerk/Barista, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere while preparing specialty coffee drinks, serving fresh food, and helping guests start their day with a positive experience. Barista experience is a plus, but we are happy to train someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, Lotus energy drinks, smoothies, and other specialty beverages Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service Take customer orders and accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system Prepare and serve breakfast sandwiches, burritos, pastries, paninis, soups, salads, and other menu items Heat prepared foods and operate the hot dog roller and other food service equipment Restock food, beverages, and retail merchandise throughout the day Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health department standards Open and close the coffeehouse, including cleaning equipment and balancing the cash drawer Assist guests with questions about the resort, restaurant, activities, and local attractions Work as part of a team to ensure an exceptional guest experience Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds Reliable, punctual, and dependable Previous barista, café, or retail experience is preferred but not required Schedule Seasonal position (now through September) We are open daily from 7:30 to 3:00 We are looking for someone to work a couple of days a week.
