We're searching for an experienced barista to join our team at Recess Coffee and Baked Goods serving the little mountain town of Black Mountain — someone who knows their way around espresso and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. What we're looking for: You have barista experience, prioritize clean and tidy environments, are confident pouring consistent latte art, have knowledge on dialing in espresso, and understand proper bar flow- especially during rushes. You value hospitality and bring empathy and attentiveness to customer conversations. You're a driven team member who takes initiative when tasks needs getting done, and sees every day as a chance to learn and improve.

Responsibilities include:
