Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and other café favorites with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, equipment, and customer seating areas in accordance with food safety standards Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing exceptional customer service Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change using cash handling best practices Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling food items or snacks while adhering to food safety protocols Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt beverage service and smooth café operations Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in retail sales transactions, cash handling, or cashiering enhances your ability to succeed in this role Knowledge of beverage service techniques and drink preparation methods is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards Join us as a vital part of our team where your enthusiasm fuels great experiences!
