Barista

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and standards
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
• Upsell additional products and promote special offers to customers
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
• Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is desirable
