Overview DonRaven's missions is to elevate Appalachia. DonRaven Basecamp aims to be the intersection between fashion, automotive sport and outdoor exploration. We want to be a community space that encourages people to move and enjoy the Appalachian landscape. The space itself is a moto cafe and boutique gear supply (snow, surf, race) with an emphasis on film and music. The environment is a combination of startup, self motivated energy with chill hangout. Elevated yet approachable. Message from the guy that started it- I started DonRaven in high school as an Appalachian label named after my grandfather. I had the chance to work at Saint Laurent, Billy Reid and Jane Moto in NYC and now want to bring that same sensibility to the adventure of where I call home, Asheville. It is incredibly exciting to start to bring together a team with a similar mission of celebrating Appalachia through coffee, clothes and community. The aesthetic is gritty and punk. The attitude is lighthearted and disciplined. I am looking to hire someone that is excited to hop in behind the coffee bar now and then move to managing it. The ideal is to start part time on weekends with events and move to full time, eventually helping to bring on others as well.
