Job Description Quarter Note Coffee is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Barista to support daily café operations and provide high-quality beverage service. This role involves preparing coffee and other beverages, taking customer orders, assisting with routine transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized beverage station. The ideal candidate is attentive, enthusiastic about coffee, and comfortable working in a busy café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to established procedures. Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system as needed. Answer basic questions about coffee, beverages, menu items, and café offerings. Process customer payments and confirm order details. Communicate customer requests and special instructions clearly with team members. Maintain clean and organized beverage stations, counters, equipment, and service areas. Monitor and replenish coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, napkins, and other café supplies. Assist with food service and routine café tasks during busy periods. Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Support opening, closing, and daily café responsibilities. Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures. Work cooperatively with other café team members to maintain smooth service. Qualifications Previous barista, café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer-service experience is helpful. Interest in coffee and beverage preparation. Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Good attention to detail and beverage quality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer-service environment. Able to learn beverage preparation, POS systems, and café procedures.
