Pay:
$18.00/hour (Barista shifts) | $20.00/hour (Shift Lead shifts) + Tips About the Role NoRa is expanding into an evening activity-focused community space. We are looking for an experienced Barista Shift Leader to help lead our new evening-focused concept. This role is central to shaping our nighttime vibe, running smooth operations, and helping curate a great experience for our community. You will oversee NoRa during evening and closing shifts, lead the team, coordinate logistics during events, craft exceptional beverages, and manage all aspects of closing the shop to set up the morning team for success.
Please note:
A significant portion of this role—especially the final hours of the night and the closing process—may involve working independently.
Key Responsibilities Shift Management:
Oversee store operations, support team members, and ensure high operational and hospitality standards during evening hours.
Closing Operations:
Independently execute all shop-closing procedures, including detailed cleaning, stocking, drawer reconciliation, and preparing the space for the opening shift.
Drink Crafting:
Serve high-quality coffee, espresso, and alcoholic beverages (beer/wine/cocktails) consistently and efficiently.
Event Coordination:
Assist with logistics, flow, and customer support when hosting evening events.
Autonomous Leadership:
Work comfortably and efficiently without direct supervision, managing task completion during solo operating hours.
Requirements Experience:
Proven experience as a skilled barista capable of making exceptional espresso and coffee beverages.
Schedule:
Ability to work five afternoon/evening shifts per week, with closing shifts lasting as late as 11:00 PM.
Age Requirement:
Must be 18 years of age or older (required to serve alcohol during evening shifts).
Self-Reliance:
Comfortable working solo during late-night hours and completing shop closes independently. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous approach to store cleanliness, task checklists, and shop reset procedures.

Self-Motivated:
Takes initiative to keep the store running smoothly during quiet or solo hours.

Compensation & Perks Base Pay:
$18.00/hr for barista shifts | $20.00/hr when working as Shift Lead.
