Copain is looking for a friendly and dependable Counter Service Team Member to join our Winston-Salem team. Copain is a neighborhood bakery and café built around thoughtfully made food, fresh-baked pastries and breads, coffee, and genuine hospitality. As part of Noble Food & Pursuits, our team is focused on quality, consistency, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through the door. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a busy environment, and is comfortable jumping in wherever the team needs support. You will work directly with guests at the counter while helping keep service running smoothly throughout the day. What You'll Do Welcome guests and create a friendly, helpful experience from the moment they arrive Take guest orders accurately and efficiently at the counter Operate the point-of-sale system and handle guest transactions Prepare and package bakery, café, and grab-and-go items for guests Assist with coffee and beverage service as trained Answer questions about menu items and help guests with their selections Keep the counter, dining area, and service spaces clean, stocked, and organized Restock products, supplies, and packaging throughout the shift Communicate with the kitchen, bakery, and other team members to keep service moving smoothly Support opening, closing, and other daily responsibilities as needed What You'll Bring A friendly, welcoming personality and genuine interest in hospitality Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with guests Ability to stay organized and positive during busy periods Reliability and a willingness to support the team wherever needed Attention to detail and the ability to follow established standards Previous restaurant, café, retail, barista, or customer service experience is helpful but not required Interest in learning more about coffee, bakery products, food, and hospitality Why Join Us $10 per hour base pay plus tips Employee dining discounts across all Noble Food & Pursuits concepts Opportunities to learn, cross-train, and grow within Noble Food & Pursuits Hands-on training and support from an experienced team A welcoming team environment focused on hospitality, quality, and taking care of people Please check out noblefoodandpursuits.com to learn more about our restaurants and team.
