Duties Prepare espresso, lattes, smoothies, teas, sandwiches, and all other items correctly and consistently. Operate POS system Square efficiently and accurately Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality beverage service Follow all food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling and hygiene standards are upheld at all times Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required. Anyone can learn a new skill.
