Job Overview Baristas and Delivery drivers needed! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee preparation and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and handling. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality service. Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Experience in food preparation or food service within the café or retail industry is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
