Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies with precision and care. Operate Square POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling procedures, process cash transactions, and balance registers at the end of shifts with accuracy. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed diligently. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between serving customers and maintaining the workspace. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
