Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee beverages with precision and consistency, following established recipes and standards. Engage with customers warmly, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring an outstanding customer service experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage sales efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, food safety practices, and food preparation tasks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and reporting shortages promptly. Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Experience Proven barista experience in a specialty coffee or café environment demonstrating skill in espresso extraction, brewing methods, and milk texturing. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing equipment, and beverage customization options. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests positively and professionally. Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
