Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service. Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks following standard recipes. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales and retail transactions smoothly. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including food handling areas, beverage stations, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change. Assist with retail sales transactions by restocking supplies and organizing merchandise displays. Follow all health regulations related to food handling and beverage preparation to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude. Experience Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Experience with barista duties such as drink preparation, coffee brewing, and beverage service is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS helps streamline sales processes. Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with diverse guests from around the world. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus. Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining quality service standards.
