The role includes preparing coffee and other beverages, taking orders, assisting guests, maintaining an organized work area, and working closely with the café team throughout the day. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, comfortable learning café procedures, and committed to consistent customer service. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service. Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages according to café procedures. Take customer orders and confirm drink selections accurately. Operate the POS system and process transactions when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage station. Replenish coffee, cups, lids, ingredients, and other service supplies. Pay attention to beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Assist with basic café preparation and customer-service duties. Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Communicate with coworkers to keep beverage and order service running smoothly. Qualifications Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience is helpful. Friendly, professional, and approachable manner. Interest in learning coffee preparation and café operations. Good communication and listening skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Able to stay organized during busy service periods. Strong attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and presentation. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
