Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. Your enthusiasm for coffee and beverage service will help create memorable experiences that keep customers coming back. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards. Follow food safety protocols and assist in food preparation when needed to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background Familiarity with café operations, beverage service, and food handling practices is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
