Job Summary Join our café team as a Barista in a new Cafe opening soon in the Middletown Red Bank area! Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and responding to inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately give change using basic math skills Restock supplies regularly and assist in food preparation to support smooth café operations Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with café experience preferred Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and non-alcoholic beverage crafting Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Experience with cleaning routines to maintain hygiene standards in the café area Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us to bring your energy and passion for coffee into a role that celebrates community, creativity, and exceptional service.
