Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee, beverages, and food service will help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You will handle retail sales transactions efficiently, process cash and card payments accurately using POS systems, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate Follow food safety protocols during beverage preparation and food handling to ensure hygiene standards are upheld Support team members during busy periods by managing drink service and serving customers promptly Maintain inventory levels of supplies such as cups, lids, syrups, and other essentials Qualifications Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Food service experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and professionalism Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests!
