The Opportunity As a Team Member, you will be one of the faces of Ben & Jerry's in the shop. You will turn busy shifts into great experiences by serving delicious treats quickly and warmly, keeping the shop running smoothly, and making every guest feel welcome. What You'll Do Scoop, prepare, and serve Ben & Jerry's ice cream, shakes, and other treats with accuracy and care. Deliver fast, friendly, and memorable customer service to every guest, every time. Operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and manage tips responsibly. Keep the shop clean, stocked, and organized, including counters, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces. Work closely with your teammates to keep energy high and lines moving smoothly during busy shifts. What Success Looks Like Within your first few weeks, you confidently handle orders from greeting to payment while maintaining a friendly, upbeat attitude. You consistently follow food safety and cleanliness standards, helping the shop meet or exceed inspection and internal quality expectations. Guests regularly leave satisfied, with positive comments about the service and atmosphere you help create. You become a reliable, go-to teammate who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and helps keep each shift running smoothly. What We're Looking For A positive attitude, strong people skills, and genuine enjoyment of customer interaction. Reliability and punctuality, with a track record of showing up ready to work. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Flexible availability, including some days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and a team-first mindset (interest in leadership growth is a plus).
