Job Description
Seekers Coffee is looking for a warm, dependable Staff Barista who enjoys taking care of people. We're seeking someone with hospitality or customer service experience, a thoughtful approach to teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Barista or specialty coffee experience is a plus, but it is not required. We'll help you develop the coffee skills you need to succeed. In this role, you'll welcome guests, prepare drinks, and help keep the shop clean, organized, and running smoothly. You'll bring care and attention to every interaction, from helping someone choose a drink to making a regular feel at home. What you'll do Welcome guests, answer menu questions, take orders, and process payments accurately. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to our recipes and quality standards. Learn our menu and coffee offerings so you can make helpful recommendations. Prepare house syrups and batch beverages as needed. Keep equipment, workstations, and guest areas clean, stocked, and organized. Complete daily side work and assigned deep-cleaning tasks. Communicate with teammates and shift leadership to keep service moving and address guest needs. Show up on time, support your team, and stay attentive during busy shifts What you bring A welcoming attitude and a genuine interest in making guests feel cared for. Strong listening and communication skills. Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to help wherever needed. The ability to stay organized and work collaboratively in a busy environment. Curiosity about coffee, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for learning. Basic math and computer skills. Availability for required shifts, including weekends or holidays, as applicable
•Previous barista experience, espresso skills, or specialty coffee knowledge are welcome bonuses. Working in the cafe This is an active role that involves standing and walking for much of a shift, using coffee equipment, cleaning, bending, reaching, and moving supplies. Essential duties may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
Pay:
$18.00
•$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0
•40.0 per week
