Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and smoothies, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions. Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing credit card payments with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
