Brown Sugar Cafe is a farm-to-table brunch restaurant in Warren, NJ, looking for a hard-working assistant barista to support our coffee program. Our bar is a fast, high-volume station during brunch rush, and it's a key part of a tight-knit, team-oriented crew. You'll work alongside our lead barista, learning our standards and helping keep the bar running smoothly during service. We share the load across the whole restaurant — everyone helps everyone. It feels like a family here, and while we're serious and focused when it's busy, we like to laugh and enjoy the shift when we can. What we're looking for:

∙ Respectful and easygoing with the team and guests The pace: Weekend brunch brings a steady wave of drink orders, back to back, with little downtime. You need to be quick, organized, and able to keep quality consistent even when volume is high. No barista experience required — we're happy to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. What you'll do:

∙ Prepare lattes, coffee, bubble teas, juices and other beverages to spec, under guidance from our lead barista

∙ Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized during service

∙ Communicate with servers and the lead barista to keep orders moving efficiently

∙ Jump in to support the floor or kitchen when things are slow
