As a TeaRista, you'll craft delightful beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and create memorable experiences for every guest. Whether you're passionate about beverage artistry or eager to learn more about the food industry, this position is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make a positive impact. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including teas, healthy energy drinks, coffees, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Square to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage retail math with confidence Assist in food preparation tasks such as brewing tea, slicing lemons and limes, while adhering to food safety standards Keep the café environment inviting by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper beverage presentation Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Square is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with an energetic and positive attitude Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or coffee industry knowledge is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies as needed, and work in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about creating delightful beverage experiences while delivering top-tier service!
