Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for chocolate and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of chocolate drinks and chocolate items according to established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay knowledgeable about menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings to enhance sales opportunities. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Knowledge of chocolate preparation techniques and an understanding of food safety practices. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
