Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas to meet food safety standards. Assist with retail sales transactions by restocking supplies, organizing merchandise, and ensuring product displays are appealing. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe experience for all customers. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and balancing registers. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper beverage preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Experience in beverage service or drink preparation is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
