The Gold 'N Silver is Reno's oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standardsEngage guests and build repeat business through hospitalityMaintain bar inventory, cleanliness, and preparation levelsMonitor guest intoxication and intervene as requiredSupport servers with beverage ordersBeverage quality and consistencyCost awareness and waste controlGuest engagement and compliance adherenceBar-level food and alcohol safetyAuthority to refuse service according to policyBeverage sanitation and safe ice handlingGlassware cleanliness and storage standardsResponsible alcohol service and intoxication managementPrevention of allergen cross-contact in beverages
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.

Beverage knowledge and bar service experience preferredAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)Responsible Alcohol Service CertificationAllergen Awareness TrainingNevada Gaming RegistrationIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
