Cafe Team Member Job Description This position includes tips in addition to a non-server hourly wage. Noble Pies is looking for kind, outgoing, and motivated people with personality to join our cafe team. More than anything, we want team members who enjoy talking to customers, are comfortable starting conversations, and are genuinely interested in the food and drinks they are selling. Our cafes are built around hospitality, product knowledge, and creating a warm, welcoming experience. What We're Looking For Friendly, personable, and comfortable engaging with customers Genuine interest in our pies, drinks, ingredients, and locally and ethically sourced products Willingness to learn our menu and confidently make recommendations Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team Weekend availability is required Ability to stand for 4-6+ hours at a time Responsibilities Immediately greet customers as they enter or approach the counter Start friendly conversations and make customers feel welcome Learn the Noble Pies menu, ingredients, and story Educate customers about our products and answer questions Ask questions to understand customer preferences and make recommendations Take and process orders and payments Serve pies, brownies, scones, and other prepared foods Prepare breakfast items and slices of pie Complete opening and closing responsibilities Assist with inventory and restocking Keep the cafe clean, organized, and inviting We are looking for people who want to care about what they are selling, connect with customers, and help create the kind of experience that keeps people coming back.
