Barista

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages including specialty coffee, smoothies and fresh juices. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position involves food handling, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems Take customer orders efficiently and provide excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing questions or concerns professionally Skills Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for guests Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform food preparation tasks quickly and accurately Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers seamlessly This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy providing excellent service.
