A Barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages at coffee houses or coffee bars. Takes customer orders, serves baked goods and snacks, runs and maintains coffee making equipment and monitors supplies.

What You'll Do Prepare and serve handcrafted hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and seasonal menu items. Deliver warm, engaging customer service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued. Accurately take customer orders and process transactions using our point-of-sale system. Learn guests' preferences and create memorable experiences that encourage them to return. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café throughout every shift. Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other café equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Assist with light food preparation, including pastries, sandwiches, and grab-and-go items. Restock inventory and monitor supplies to keep daily operations running smoothly. Recommend menu items, promote specials, and confidently upsell products to enhance the guest experience. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Contribute positive energy and professionalism that helps create an enjoyable workplace. What We're Looking For A naturally friendly, positive, and welcoming personality. Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions. Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required. We're happy to train the right person with the right attitude. Bonus Points If You Have Experience with espresso machines and specialty coffee preparation. Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, latte art, or specialty beverages. Experience with point-of-sale systems. Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
