Duties Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks using professional espresso equipment, ensuring quality and consistency. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and receipt issuance. Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized café environment while adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines. Experience Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee or café setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machine operation, and beverage customization. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food handling, serving, and basic math skills related to retail math or café operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation practices within the food industry is essential.
