Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and pastries and providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our café while ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register for processing transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the coffee bar and seating areas. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist in restocking as needed. Engage with customers to create a friendly environment, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Proficiency in using POS systems. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
