Supervise daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any special requests or concerns promptly. Train and mentor team members on beverage preparation techniques, food handling safety, cleaning protocols, and proper food industry standards. Oversee retail sales transactions, process cash and card payments efficiently, and maintain accurate cash register balancing. Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment maintenance, and adherence to food safety regulations to uphold health standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Requirements Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service environment preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities. Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning protocols. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Food industry experience with an understanding of food preparation standards is highly desirable.
