You'll be responsible for preparing smoothies, coffee, lattes, and pastries while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties Supervise and train barista staff on beverage preparation, customer service techniques, and café operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the café. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimize waste. Utilize Clover POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns promptly. Prepare high-quality coffee beverages and food items while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in sales initiatives to promote special offers and increase café revenue. Maintain knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and trends to educate customers and staff. Skills Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong sales skills with the ability to promote products effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Experience in food preparation and food service within the café or restaurant industry.
