What You'll Do As a Barista, you'll be an important part of our guests' experience from the moment they walk through the door. You'll help create great drinks, serve delicious beignets, and make every guest feel welcome.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greet every guest with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience. Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, lattes, specialty beverages, and other menu items according to Beignets & Brew standards. Learn and confidently explain our full menu and product offerings. Create quality drinks with attention to presentation, consistency, and speed. Develop your barista skills, including latte art and specialty drink preparation. Answer guest questions and assist with dietary preferences or restrictions. Operate and properly care for coffee and café equipment. Clean and maintain espresso machines, coffee equipment, counters, and workstations throughout the day. Prepare, stock, and replenish ingredients and supplies throughout each shift. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary café environment. Keep the dining area and outdoor patio clean and welcoming for guests. Follow all food safety, sanitation, state, and federal requirements. Work effectively with fellow Krewe members and managers, especially during busy periods. Learn seasonal drinks, new menu items, promotions, and procedures. Assist managers and other Krewe members with additional tasks as needed. What We're Looking For We're looking for people who: Have a positive, friendly, and outgoing personality . Pay attention to quality, cleanliness, and presentation. Are comfortable learning new equipment, recipes, and seasonal menu items. Bring creativity and enthusiasm to work every day. Previous barista or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates who have the right attitude and a strong desire to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift. Ability to frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the café. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds . Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate face-to-face with guests and team members.
