Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items to complement beverage offerings. Uphold food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light cleaning duties, and handle food safely in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations.
