Job Description Redstraw at Reeds Crossing has opening part time jobs, and is seeking a passionate, dedicated and trustworthy Barista. The ideal candidate will have a love for Tea/Boba/Coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Redstraw Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

- Legally authorized to work in US and seek for long-term position

- Previous experience in a barista in boba shop or customer service role is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided
- Essential math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for tea/coffee and knowledge of various brewing methods is desirable.
- Outstanding communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Greet customers and operate a POS system to take orders and payment procedures.
- Responsible for supporting back of house operations, including food preparation, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Prepare a variety of ingredients, cooking boba, cutting fruit, brewing tea, and making sauces with precision and care with following standard recipe
- Serve a variety of beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care with following standard recipe
- Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, kitchen/service/seating areas, and restroom.
- Manage inventory levels of tea, syrups, milk, and other supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold all health and safety standards within the café environment.
