In this role, you will oversee the preparation of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, manage retail sales transactions, and ensure exceptional customer service. As a key team member, you will motivate and guide your fellow baristas, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a clean, welcoming space for all guests. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, efficiency, and a positive atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Duties Lead shift operations by coordinating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Oversee cash handling and processing of retail sales transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards through regular cleaning routines and proper food handling procedures Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly Support food preparation activities in line with health regulations to ensure quality and safety Manage inventory levels for beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to prevent shortages Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about coffee, thrive in team environments, and are eager to lead by example!
