Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. Shifts can start as early as 5-7am and go till 1-3pm. This is not a seasonal position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Baristas also earn tips which are paid out every shift in cash.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
• Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling payments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in restocking and replenishing inventory as needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Upsell products and engage customers to enhance their experience

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Ability to handle food safely and hygienically
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee varieties
