Lancaster General Hospital is seeking an experienced Barista to prepare and serve espresso beverages, coffee drinks, and food items while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Location 📍 Lancaster General Hospital 555 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA Schedule Varied shifts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM Every other weekend and holiday required Key Responsibilities Prepare espresso beverages and specialty coffee drinks using established recipes and standards. Serve customers efficiently and professionally. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and service areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines. Restock beverages, condiments, and supplies. Accurately explain menu items and assist customers with selections. Process transactions using POS systems, cash, and credit card payments. Ensure food and beverage displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of food and beverage experience . At least 1 year of Barista experience . Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a busy environment. Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining quality and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
