This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of boba tea drinks, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care Operate POS systems Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, bathrooms and general tidiness Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service Manage cash handling accurately during processing of cash transactions and refunds Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food preparation and handling procedures Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the café running smoothly Assist with marketing campaign R&D new recipes and products Skills Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to handle food safely, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food safety regulations Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately Excellent time management to serve customers efficiently during busy hours Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided on specific beverage recipes and procedures Join us as a Boba Tea Barista to bring joy through creative drinks while developing valuable skills in the vibrant world of food and beverage service!
