Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and cocktails with precision and flair Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met for all menu items Support sales efforts by upselling beverages and food items to enhance guest experience and revenue Requirements Prior experience as a barista or bartender in a fast-paced food service or retail environment Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Understanding of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts Join us if you're passionate about creating welcoming spaces where guests can enjoy expertly crafted drinks and exceptional service.
