Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate the Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing routine cleaning duties, food handling, and sanitation tasks in accordance with food safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally Serve beverages and food items with attention to presentation and customer preferences Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Strong skills in sales, cash handling, and retail transactions are essential for success in this role Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and transaction processing Experience in beverage preparation, especially coffee or drink service, is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities RAMP and Servsafe required prior to hire but we will provide information on this at the interview.
