Job Description

Part-Time Barista, 4-days/per pay, e/o weekend Creates a warm, welcoming, and engaging dining experience for residents and guests. Prepares and serves coffee, beverages, and light meals while providing exceptional customer service tailored to the needs of residents. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or as a barista/server. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation-, Serve-Safe-, HAACP standards, and infection control. Understand and assist in the delivery of special diets ordered by the physician. Basic computer skills, customer service, and familiarity with therapeutic diets. Ability to work effectively with older adults in a respectful and compassionate manner. Basic math skills for handling transactions and operating a POS system. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
Experience working in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment. Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets common among older adults. PR/First Aid certification is a plus.
