Job Summary Bluzone Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Coffee Shop Team Member to join the café team. The ideal candidate will welcome guests, prepare coffee and other beverages, assist with food service, process orders and payments, maintain a clean café environment, and work closely with team members to provide efficient and welcoming service. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, tea, and specialty drinks according to café standards Assist with preparing and serving pastries, snacks, and other menu items Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments accurately Answer guests' questions about menu items and beverage options Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, service areas, and workstations Restock coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, food items, condiments, and other supplies Clean and sanitize café equipment, utensils, counters, and preparation areas Monitor product presentation and keep displays neat and appealing Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening and closing duties Support team members during busy service periods Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner Perform other café duties assigned by management Requirements Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred but not required Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is a plus Basic POS and cash-handling experience is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and detail Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills Café or coffee shop experience Barista or beverage-service experience Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask during busy periods Good organization and time-management skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Interest in coffee, hospitality, and café service Benefits Benefits may vary based on position, location, employment status, and eligibility.
