Job Summary We are looking for an individual that is passionate about coffee and has outstanding customer service to create a welcoming and friendly environment for every guest that walks into Poppin Daisies. In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, serve food and drinks with enthusiasm in our new coffee and flower bar. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Operate POS systems Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing cash transactions Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including coffee equipment and dining spaces to meet food safety standards Serve food and beverages promptly while providing exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations Experience Previous barista experience preferred but not necessary Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Experience in café or food industry environments preferred but not necessary Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Knowledge of beverage service techniques, including drink preparation and serving standards but not necessary Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Be part of a unique space located in the heart of Central Lawrenceville with staff members that are passionate about coffee and flowers.
