Cashier / Barista

•Event Staff Overview We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Cashier/Barista to join our team for a 3-day event. This role combines customer service, cashier duties, and basic drink preparation. You'll help create a welcoming experience for guests while keeping the booth organized, clean, and running smoothly.

•10:00 PM Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service. Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS/cash register. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment responsibly. Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to provided instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area throughout the event. Restock cups, lids, napkins, drinks, and other supplies as needed. Answer customer questions and provide basic information about products and menu items. Recommend or promote products when appropriate. Monitor inventory and notify the team when supplies are running low. Keep displays and products organized and presentable. Follow food/beverage safety and cleanliness guidelines. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and organizing the booth. Work cooperatively with other team members and assist wherever needed. Requirements Previous cashier, barista, café, restaurant, or retail experience is preferred. Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash accurately. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with a high volume of customers. Able to stand and work for extended periods during long event shifts. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. Previous barista experience is a plus, but training can be provided for basic drink preparation. Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus. Pay:

$150.00
