We are seeking seeking a cheerful and capable part-time/full time for Patisserie Coralie, located downtown Evanston and Cafe Coralie located on NU campus. Please note this position needs to be filled as soon as possible and we are looking for candidates that are able to start right away. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is: Punctual and arrives at their shift ready to work Has a flexible schedule and is able to work in the early mornings with and afternoon but no evenings. Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment Able to provide cheerful, exceptional customer service at all hours of the day Has cash handling experience and good mental math skills Has an interest in French cuisine Has a passion for coffee and is interested in the proper techniques for coffee service Local to the Evanston area Responsibilities include: Counter service in the sale of coffee, pastry, and ready-to-go food items Brewing coffee, making espresso drinks, making tea to order, and bagging/boxing pastry items Making sandwiches Packaging house-made products for retail Basic cleaning tasks, washing dishes, and maintenance of the espresso machine, coffee brewer, and grinders Working closely with other team members to create a cohesive workflow Opening and/or closing the store

Qualifications:

Prior coffee/barista experience is required Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to stand for 7 hour periods A passion for excellent customer service
