In this lively role, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beers and wines while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in beverage presentation, food safety, and POS systems will ensure smooth operations and satisfied patrons. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a dynamic outdoor setting, fostering community engagement and fun. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations on beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail options. Serve beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations. Prepare and serve beverages following established recipes, including craft beers, Manage multiple tables or bar stations with excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to food safety standards and alcohol service regulations. Assist with inventory management by tracking beverage stock levels and placing replenishment orders as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry roles such as bartender, barback, or server is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Familiarity with fine dining or nightclub environments helps deliver exceptional customer service under lively conditions. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures is essential.
