Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as our barista and dessert bar attendant! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and give correct change using retail math skills Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about beverages and food offerings, and provide excellent customer service Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in beverage preparation and food service Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and beverage quality Qualifications Ability to communicate well within the team Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service
