Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and reporting low stock levels. Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is highly valued. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Proficiency in using a POS systems such as Square for cashiering transactions. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
